MONTRÉAL, QC. Vantelira Inc., a newly incorporated Montréal-based company, officially launched on April 14, 2026. Founded by Ysimer "Ysi" Gonzalez, Vantelira is the formal incorporation of her independent operations practice, previously conducted under the working name Altamira Ops.

Vantelira takes on operations problems as projects and delivers them with Forward Deployed Operators who map what is actually happening, fix the process, and build the infrastructure that makes the change stick.

"The name Altamira Ops described what we did. Vantelira describes how we think," said Gonzalez, Founder and Principal Forward Deployed Operator. "We go in before the tool. We fix the process. Then we build the infrastructure that makes it permanent. That's a different category, and it needed a name that could carry it."

Vantelira operates at the intersection of Lean Six Sigma methodology, forward deployment precision, and custom infrastructure engineering. The infrastructure Vantelira builds is purpose-built for each client's operation. Ownership and licensing terms are scoped to the engagement.

Gonzalez also uses the term "Forward Deployed Operator" to describe the role at the center of Vantelira's model: a practitioner who owns the full arc from process diagnosis through technology implementation, where most operational failures occur.

"Consultants diagnose. Integrators implement tools. But nobody owned the job end to end: fixing the process, building the infrastructure, and making sure the technology actually has something to land on," said Gonzalez. "That's what a Forward Deployed Operator does."

The launch includes a visual identity developed in partnership with Goodboy Agency, a new website at vantelira.com, and The Forward Deployed Operator, a weekly publication covering operational patterns from inside growing businesses. Active clients include brands in the CPG, non-profit, and distribution sectors across Canada and internationally.

The publication covers what most operations content doesn't: the real process failures, the AI deployments that work versus the ones that break things faster, and the infrastructure decisions that separate businesses that scale from businesses that stall. Every issue is written from inside the work, not from a strategy deck.

"Most operations content is written by people who advise on operations," said Ysimer "Ysi" Gonzalez, Founder of Vantelira. "We write from inside it. There's a difference between knowing what a broken handoff looks like from a case study and having stood inside one at 11pm trying to figure out why an order didn't ship. That's what this publication is."

The Forward Deployed Operator began publishing weekly in March 2026, ahead of Vantelira's formal launch on April 14, 2026. An early issue, Why 80% of AI Implementations Fail Before the First Prompt, introduced the Process-Before-Agents Framework, Vantelira's methodology for determining where AI is actually safe to deploy inside an operation.
