MONTRÉAL, QC. Vantelira Inc., a newly incorporated Montréal-based forward deployment operations firm, officially launched on April 14, 2026. Founded by Ysimer "Ysi" Gonzalez, Vantelira is the formal incorporation of her independent operations practice, previously conducted under the working name Altamira Ops.

The firm embeds operators inside client organizations to map what's actually happening, build the infrastructure that runs without them, and exit when the system holds.

"The name Altamira Ops described what we did. Vantelira describes how we think," said Gonzalez, Founder and Principal Forward Deployed Operator. "We go in before the tool. We fix the process. Then we build the infrastructure that makes it permanent. That's a different category, and it needed a name that could carry it."

Vantelira operates at the intersection of Lean Six Sigma methodology, forward deployment precision, and custom infrastructure engineering. The firm's three-phase model (Truth Audit, Deployment, and Leadership Tail) is designed with a deliberate exit built in from day one. The infrastructure Vantelira builds is purpose-built for each client's operation. Ownership and licensing terms are scoped to the engagement.

Gonzalez is also introducing the term "Forward Deployed Operator" to describe the role at the center of Vantelira's model: a practitioner who owns the full arc from process diagnosis through technology implementation, where most operational failures occur.

"There was no name for this job," said Gonzalez. "Consultants diagnose. Integrators implement tools. But nobody owned the job end to end: fixing the process, building the infrastructure, and making sure the technology actually has something to land on. That's what a Forward Deployed Operator does, and until now, there wasn't a word for it."

The launch includes a visual identity developed in partnership with Goodboy Agency, a new website at vantelira.com, and The Forward Deployed Operator, a weekly publication covering operational patterns from inside growing businesses. Active clients include brands in the CPG, non-profit, and distribution sectors across Canada and internationally.
